At the beginning of 2023 I parted ways with Picture Farm Production, my creative home for the last 12+ years. Back in 2011 I left my role as a film editor at Consulate and partnered with Ben Freedman, Chris Bren & James Stewart with the aim of building an international production & post house. We certainly did that, and added an art gallery and a film festival for good measure, all while supporting so many interesting artists and making so much great work. At PF I was able to do it all, juggling roles as the Creative Director, Head of Post Production, Gallery Curator and Executive Producer alongside directing, editing, shooting and writing. The repeated recognition, sheer volume of incredible projects and the community we were able to sustain for so long is pretty astonishing to me. Calling time on that was a big decision, but I’m enjoying a moment of calm.
