Operated as a passion project, PF Gallery would present over a hundred solo and group shows, community fundraisers, pop up exhibitions, craft workshops and cultural events between 2011 and 2018. All proceeds would go to the artists themselves. The physical gallery space at 338 Wythe Ave closed in January of 2018 when Picture Farm moved its New York office to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, but the project lived on with multiple exhibitions in development and in the form of annual events like the Picture Farm Film Festival and the It Doesn’t Not Work surfcraft design symposium.
